How does it work?

Step 1

Promote your Text4Help keyword on adverts, signage, flyers, social media and local media.

Each client/community will be given their own keyword to promote – e.g. for a local authority in the town of Springfield they would promote “text SPRINGFIELD to 50555 for help or info. National keywords can also be used with information automatically directed to local organisations. 

Step 2

The person requesting assistance texts the keyword to 50555 and they get an automated reply letting them know someone will be in touch. Their request-for-help can then be managed from our online platform and/or automatically forwarded by email to a list of people who manage the requests.

Software and Usage Costs

We are aiming to provide this service at a reduced cost during the COVID-19 crisis. To use the system there will be a small software and support licence fee and a usage fee per request.
